Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Account data: Your email address and hashed password.
  • QR code data: Destination URLs, names, and colors you provide.
  • Scan data: Timestamp, country (from Cloudflare headers), and user agent for each QR code scan. We do not store full IP addresses in scan records.
  • Billing data: Stripe handles all payment processing. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never store card numbers.

What we do not collect

  • We do not use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels)
  • We do not sell or share your data with advertisers
  • We do not track you across other websites

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to operate the service: authenticating your account, hosting your QR redirects, displaying scan analytics to you, and processing your subscription through Stripe.

Data storage

All data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Data is encrypted at rest.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Third-party services

  • Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare — hosting and DDoS protection. Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • SendGrid — transactional email (account confirmation, billing notices). Your email address is transmitted to SendGrid to deliver these messages.

Data retention

Active account data is retained as long as your account exists. After account deletion or 90 days post-cancellation, your data is permanently deleted. Scan event records older than 2 years are automatically purged.

Your rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing games@shwarpedmedia.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
